Temporary missions

In addition to its permanent missions, the Interregional Body for Family Benefits (ORINT) provisionally performed the following missions (article 6 of its Statutes) :

1° The financial control of the federal family allowance funds with regard to 2018 (finished).

2° All operations within the framework of the (financial) liquidation of late-FAMIFED (Agence fédérale pour les allocations familiales – Federal Agency for Family Allowances) after its abolition. (unfinished).

3° The processing of complaints, notices and requests for information still in progress of late-FAMIFED’s Mediation Department as of December 31, 2018 (finished).

4° The processing of social fraud files still in progress at the late-FAMIFED Social Fraud Unit as of December 31, 2018 (finished).

5° The processing of the family checks still in progress at the late-FAMIFED Inspection Service as of December 31, 2018 (finished).

In order to be able to carry out these missions, ORINT was able to rely on former late-FAMIFED staff members who were transferred to the entities as part of the regionalization of family allowances.
